While SAE does set a standard for equipment, it does not make something "the" standard. NACS has been standardized by SAE and stands for North American Charging System. (https://www.sae.org/standards/content/j3400/) CCS1 also does not mean standard. It's standardized by SAE, and it's official name is Combined Charging System. As of right now, North America does not have a standard EV plug. undo Tag: Visual edit
