  • curprev 17:3317:33, 18 April 2024Knitmygrits talk contribs 45,459 bytes +2 All translations of the Bible from KJ to NLT to ESV ALL state the commandment as "Thou shalt not MURDER." In Genesis 9:5 in the last sentence, it is first stated as "And anyone who MURDERS a fellow human must die" In verse 6 of the same chapter in Genesis, it further goes on to explain that when a murder is committed, "If anyone takes a human life, that person's life will also be taken BY HUMAN HANDS". The judgement of punishment by death is clear for the act of murder which is intentional. undo Tag: Reverted
