Justification for this decision is written in preceding edit explanation. Seriously though the coup was like 95-99% Brazilian, it would be a little bit like calling the Iraq War a "Polish-backed American Invasion" and not mentioning any of the other coalition members that sent far more troops.
  • 19:1719:17, 30 May 2024 diff hist +40 m 1964 Brazilian presidential electionThe decision to mention US involvement in the lead here reflects a highly Amerocentric perspective on Brazil's history. Few historians would dispute that the 1964 coup was indeed backed by the United States, but it was planned, organized and led entirely by elements within Brazil itself, and America's direct involvement was limited to the point that its actual efficacy is disputed. An article about Brazilian history briefly mentioning a Brazilian coup ought to treat it as a BRAZILIAN coup

  • 01:1801:18, 18 May 2024 diff hist −3,331 Kfar Aza massacreCleaning up article, which had some odd artifacts (including a duplicated sentence in two different parts of the casualties section) and awkward wording stemming from it being written piecemeal as new information came out over time, as well as one paragraph concerning violence across all Hamas attacks (mainly outside Kfar Aza) which were mistakenly lumped together here. Also added lines concerning the two protests arranged by Kfar Aza survivors in Tel Aviv.
