The flag has been a feature for 10 years at this point and the infobox is for concisely communicating useful information about the county. Similar circumstances to Cornwall applies with regards to widespread use around and outside of Devon. Due to this flag being a very well known and important symbol of Devon in contrast to most County Flags (reason for removal repeatedly being reverted), it merits being treated as an exception to the optional WP:COUNTIES guidance.
