The 3rd campaign was scrapped over a year before it was released(They only had 4 missions started with all of them being unfinished). Original War didn't sell well enough to have extra campaign missions after it was released. 9/11 had nothing to do with it. The game was released in the USA after 9/11 <ref>https://www.eurogamer.net/i-originalwar</ref> with kamikaze units still in the game.
