  • curprev 14:4114:41, 15 April 20241838 Black Metropolis talk contribsm 16,260 bytes −11 The Institute for Colored Youth had Black leadership and Black teaches. It was not Quaker Run. It was Quaker funded and Quakers had some say in the administration but it's incorrect to say it was "Quaker run". Doing so erases the important Black leadership in the school in people like Fanny Coppin, Sarah Mapps Douglass, Jacob C. White Jr., and Charles L. Reason. Tag: Visual edit
