  • curprev 07:2607:26, 17 April 2024Mucketymuck talk contribs 78,904 bytes +105 It's not apparent what these matters have to do with electrification, unless "changing" means to turn from using heat generated by burning coal and coke onsite to that produced by offsite electric power generation (which may yet ultimately come from coal combustion). Besides, blast furnaces oxidize coke to produce virgin iron from ore.
