There’s no such place as Gillemichael, Knockdolian House is off the B734, between Ballentrae and Colmonell, South Ayrshire. How do I know? I’ve been there, my Grandfather, William Watson was Head Forester for the 7th and 8th Dukes of Wellington, for Douglas McConnel and then after that Valerian Wellesley.
