Interested in improving music reading and knowledge?
Take AP Music Theory with SpringLight! Improve on aural skills and implement notation reading knowledge.
For this course, it is expected that students have an understanding of music fundamentals (ability to read music, key signatures, etc.).
The class will cover music theory at a collegiate level with rigor in music reading, analysis, listening, and sight-reading skills.

Students will leave AP Music Theory with more answers and curiosity about the makings of what makes music the way it is. While all students will be prepared to successfully pass the AP Music Theory Exam, the goal for learning is that students will genuinely enjoy the process of engaging with creating, reading, and listening to music; improve their own music making; and leave the class with a desire to continue seeking music as a part of their lives.

AP Music Theory (5/15/2024 Monday Test Date)

Times: 1:00-3:00pm Sunday
Tuition: $1200/18 lessons, $70/lesson
Private lesson rates:  $90/hr without taking group classes.

Guarantee policy
The score of 4 or 5 on the AP exam can be guaranteed by diligently completing all homework assignments on time and actively engaging, practicing, and attending every class. If students who meet these expectations do not receive a 4 or 5 on the AP exam, a 50% refund will be provided.

*We offer the first class as a trial for this course. If you are not satisfied after the trial, you may cancel and are not required to pay any tuition for that one class only. If you would like to continue, you must pay for all classes, including the first class.
**No tuition refund after class 3.
***Payment needs to be received by the 2nd class. Late payments have a $50 penalty fee.
