The AMC 10/12 is part of the series of contests administered by the MAA American Mathematics Competitions that determines the United States team in the International Math Olympiad(IMO). More than 300,000 students participate in the MAA American Mathematics Competitions each year. The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are both 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examinations in high school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below, and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade. Students in grade 10 or below and under 17.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 10. The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. Students in grade 12 or below and under 19.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 12.
The test administration fee is not refundable.
Test format: In person in South Bay. digital format/paper. We will email the detailed instruction to students when the test date is approaching.

Q: Why should students take the AMC test at SpringLight?
A: We offer the following services for you;
1. We will notify you of the students' score and their answers to all of the questions
2. If you forget the students' test score, whenever you would like it again, we will tell you the students' score upon request.
3. We will continue to host the AIME and USA(J)MO test no matter how many students take the exam.
Q. Do students need to take SpringLight's class to qualify for taking the test?
A: No. Whoever wants to take the test at SpringLight can do it (you can only take the test once, at one test center).
