We are honored to have 2024 Missouri State Senate Candidate and Pastor Joe Nicola as our Master of Ceremonies.

Joe Nicola is a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran, wherein he took a life-long oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. Joe previously owned a small business for nearly a decade and worked with teenagers as a youth minister. He is the current pastor of a church in Independence, Missouri that he and his wife launched over 22 years ago. While pastoring he also worked at the Blue Springs School District for over 16 years. Joe Nicola has nearly 40 years of business and church leadership experience including leading teams overseas for ministry and humanitarian purposes. He is also the author of two theological books. Joe and his wife Renee were high school sweethearts and have been married for 38 years. They have lived in the district for 30 years.

Currently, Joe leads a ministry leader prayer group and has been a volunteer mentor to young men with the Youth Friends Organization. He supervised a food security network for working families. He has also volunteered with the Independence Public School District and with various non-profits over the past four decades such as: Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, City Union Mission, Uplift, and several others.

Michael Billings was born with what his dad (Doug Billings) calls "the Divine Chromosome." Trisomy 21 is the official name for Down syndrome. That tiny extra addition makes kids like this special... They have no venom, no prejudices, are almost always happy and love their lives. If we each had a little bit of what they have in them, the world would be a better place.

His condition was a complete surprise upon his birth but has not stopped him from having a full, complete and meaningful life. He has friends, goes to college and enjoys sports and video games just like any typical person his age. Milestones may come a little slower, but they come!

Michael travels with his dad to participate in Patriot events around the country where they appear on stage in front of thousands of people. Michael inspires people to see the wonder, joy & meaning in life and to take joy in the simple things. On certain occasions, he may even sing an Elvis song for you!

Michael and his dad remind us that the Conservative party in America is the only political movement that stands for LIFE and that God doesn't make "mistakes" when He creates our lives.
