About this ebook

The Culture War. How the West lost its greatness and was weakened from within outlines how the West lost its values, causing its current decline. It is a forceful attack on the extreme liberal, anti-religious ideology which since the 1960’s has permeated the Western culture and weakened its very core. The West is now characterized by strict elitist media censorship, hedonism, a culture of drug abuse, abortion, ethnic clashes and racial divide, a destructive feminism and the dramatic breakdown of the family. An ultra-rich elite pushes our nations into a new, authoritarian globalist structure, with no respect for Western historical values.

Yet, even in the darkest hour, there is hope. This manifesto outlines the remedy for the current malaise and describes the greatness of our traditional and religious values that once made our civilization prosper. It shows how we can restore these values to bring back justice, mercy, faith, honesty, fidelity, kindness and respect for one another. Virtues that will motivate individuals to love one another, the core of what will make us great again.

This is an excellent book if you are looking for insight into the hows and whys of the culture we are living in. Herland goes into detail about the Christian roots of our western civilization and how they have been distorted over the years. It was especially interesting to me how Christophobia has developed and I can now recognize how pervasive it is on our society. There are chapters on the financial crisis, family breakdown, hedonism, and tolerance as oppression. I highly recommend this book if you are searching for answers to the cultural questions about why the church doesn't take a bigger stand in our world.

Excellent book and should be required reading for people of faith! In the vein of Bill O' Reilly's book on the "Culture Wars," Hanne has provided a solid work tracing the history and condition of the spirituality of Western culture, and how the political and moral climate affected how we got here. You will love the way Hanne dissects our current political, social, and anti-religious climate and myriads of problems, to offer hope and a solid solution to regain the foundations of our heritage. Hanne doesn't minch words or pull punches; she calls out those who have severely and wrongfully damaged the Western culture: The extreme liberal left wing, anti-religious, media and ideologues. Great resource Hanne, I strongly recommend this solid work!

I highly recommend that you study the parts of this book which focus on Eastern Orthodoxy, and show that the Russian Church understands where the West is coming from in its troubles with Islam and immigration in Western Europe and Scandinavia, and in North America, and we all share a resistance to Islamic terrorism at the fringe of Islam, though the majority of Muslim immigration is peaceful and assimilationist. This is a good book, and my other reviews of it were not meant to be overly critical. I would give it a 3 rather than a 2 now. It is an okay book.
