DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE COVID SYMPTOMS

Weekly subs remain at £4 per attendee - member or visitor.  The membership fee for this year is £10. Newcomers can try an evening before deciding to join.

Love dancing? Or just want to try? Why not join our sociable weekly meetings at Marholm Village Hall (just a few miles north of Peterborough city centre). Everyone is invited to join the warm and friendly company of our members on Wednesday evenings (7.00pm - 9.00pm during school term times). Beginners are especially welcome, with or without a partner. Even absolute beginners can join in straight away as our dances are called by experienced callers who walk us through the moves and patterns and call the moves during the dances. About once a month we have a guest caller to provide more variety in dances and dance styles. We have fun parties at Christmas and at the end of the summer term with a guest caller and sometimes live music. You will also see us demonstrating our dances every year in July at the John Clare Festival in Helpston.

All our meetings and events are in our online Google calendar:

The club was founded in 1979 by a group of people interested in English Country Dance from the 17th century until the present day, including both stately dances and lively barn dances. We are affiliated to the English Folk Dance and Song Society (opens in new tab) where you can find more information about the dances that we do.
