Dr Charlotte Buxton
Executive Editor, Strategic Lexical Projects, Oxford University Press
I have been with Oxford Languages for over 15 years, mostly working on current English content. I’m currently part of the Strategic Lexical Projects group, leading a team focused on lexical product development across both English and other languages. As an undergraduate, I studied English Language and Literature at Hertford College, Oxford, before spending two years on a rowing scholarship in Los Angeles, while studying for an MA in English. I then came back to Oxford to do a DPhil on Daniel Defoe and the intersection of history and fiction in 18th century writing, before starting work for OUP in 2007.
