*Applying Learning Equity Strategies in Your Courses*
November 5, 2020 - 6 to 8 pm Central

Learning equity issues extend to any course environment—face-to-face, hybrid or online. These issues have been amplified in 2020 for many students.
The purpose of this workshop is to assist instructors in addressing these equity issues.
Following the conclusion of this presentation the participants will:
1. Identify and list ways to manage bias, assumptions and institutional barriers that negatively impact learners' motivation, opportunities and achievement.
2. Explain strategies for using evidence-based rubrics and practices to address learning equity issues
3. Identify ways to adjust instructions, materials, activities and/or assignments to increase the learning equity in their classes.
