Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has shared a worrying family update. The professional dancer shared a snap of her dad lying in a hospital bed as he fights an undisclosed illness which she received news of last month.
In the photo, Mark was seen smiling at the camera while wired up to a machine. Next to him were a bunch of balloons, one of which included a bright yellow smiley face design.
Alongside the picture, she wrote: "Love you so much dad, sending all my healing wishes and energy your way." It comes as the professional dancer recently shared a clip to her YouTube channel and explained some fans have become increasingly concerned about her.

She said: "I thought I’d be very upfront and honest with you all. Last week I got some news about my dad’s health. I’m not going to go into detail, but obviously that affected me. Being away from home and not being able to support and help your family in a time of need is quite a difficult thing.
“So I did struggle a little bit last week in terms of that,” she continued. “And obviously, if you follow me on here, you know that my family were all going to be coming here for Christmas. My mum and dad were going to come and watch me in the show - that won’t be happening now."
But she confirmed: "So I’m now going to go home to Australia." Looking on the more positive side, Dianne told her viewers that she fully expects her dad to overcome his recent health difficulties. She added: "There’s a little road ahead for my dad but I 100% believe he’s going to be fine and we’re all going to get through it together."
