With the support of the DTIC MdM Strategic program and the AI-BOOST project, we are launching a series of activities that will help researchers to approach AI in a more responsible way.
On February 27th we will have a presentation and a debate where we will discuss the effects of the AI Act in the research field and in the process of technology transfer.
The event will consist of a panel discussion and an open space to discuss your inquiries. We invite all researchers, project managers and technologists to participate and bring your doubts and questions about the responsibility of AI and technology in your projects. This will be a space of reflexivity, but not legal advising. We expect to collect your inquiries and doubts to prepare future activities that will help you to develop research of high excellence with a great impact in our society and our planet.
The discussion panel will be conformed by:
Moderator: Manuel Portela (DTIC, UPF)
Judith Membribes and Anabel Arias (algorights.org)
Migle Laukyte (DRET, UPF)
Nataly Buslón (DTIC, UPF)
Time: Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 - 12:30 to 14:00
Place: Room 51.100 (La Nau - Campus Poblenou UPF, Roc Boronat 138, Barcelona)
