yes, actually it was delayed till a matter was resolved (ref @TonyBallioni:) and it is now nicely solved. Shevonsilva (talk) 18:16, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: This user has a history of creating huge numbers (I mean, 1000s) of pages with almost no content at all, which cause problems for editors trying to raise the quality of WP, rather than its crude volume. He does not write coherent or grammatical English, and therefore is, I suggest, not a suitable person to be deciding on others' contributions. | The ANI was not resolved at all; Shevonsilva abruptly stopped the mass-creation, and it was archived without a conclusion. (He also started two other threads in this ANI archive, neither of which was an ANI matter. See "See Also" for an example of the coherence problem.) The issue of using his own "automation" to make upwards of 500 edits a day was also not resolved. Imaginatorium (talk) 08:03, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I'm sorry Shevonsilva but the ANI was not resolved in any meaningful way, and it shows you don't fully have the community's trust when it comes to civility or creating new articles. I'd suggest waiting a few months before requesting again, so you can show us a track record of addressing those issues. If you do, please read the instructions at the top of the page before making your request. – Joe (talk) 20:32, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes.  :-) Shevonsilva (talk) 21:16, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Joe Roe: I have already addressed the issues as requested by the community. It is still waiting as there is no common standard for administrative units. I believe it is freezed here as the correct standard is not yet defined. Do you think it is going to resolve in future (I do not really think according to my understanding)? Shevonsilva (talk) 21:38, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Shevonsilva: I'm sorry but I don't understand most of your comment. As far as we're concerned, the problems brought up by other editors in that ANI thread will be "resolved" when you have edited for a while without repeating them. Specifically, try to remain civil with other editors at all times, and under no circumstances create any more articles using unapproved automated tools. – Joe (talk) 22:00, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Shevonsilva: The mentioned errors are now already corrected. :)  If you refer my last comment in that discussion, there is an issue with Title naming of the pages as there is no any clear agreement with it.  I have already stop expanding administrative unit articles at the moment as it is mentioned there.  If you refer the full description there, the pending issue is the article title naming convention of administrative units.  I do not really think it is going to be solved as there are two standards amalganated.  Do you really think anyone is going to close an archived discussion? :) Shevonsilva (talk) 23:57, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Araratic

I would like to be a New page reviewer so that I can help keep the backlog low. I have looked at the guidelines for granting and I can confirm I meet them. I have also participated in a few AFD discussions to familiarise myself with Wikipedia's notability requirements. Araratic | talk 04:46, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was told to re-apply after meeting the time requirement. My last request was declined by Kudpung because my account was below 90-days old. I'd like to have the right to help out with the backlog. Here's a link to my logs if it helps. The editor whose username is Z0 11:06, 24 June 2018 (UTC) The editor whose username is Z0 11:06, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Was asked to help by Insertcleverphrasehere, and would be glad to assist in keeping down any backlog. I have a long editing history and am familiar with the guidelines, and have had reviewer and rollbacker rights since 2010. --woodensuperman 10:18, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Thanks for helping out. – Joe (talk) 21:21, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I did new page reviews sporadically before the change, but not enough to qualify for the grandfather provision. Hearing that there is a backlog prompted me to apply for the permission at this time. I meet the requirements and believe my edit history reveals that I general have a clue. Geoff | Who, me? 17:49, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
