Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests
If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

Technical requests
Uncontroversial technical requests
- I Miss You, I'm Sorry (Gracie Abrams song) (currently a redirect to I Miss You, I'm Sorry) → I Miss You, I'm Sorry (move · discuss) – Only notable song with that title that has an article. BePlus (talk) 17:35, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- Note that the requested destination is already a disambig page, which will have to be re-titled. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 13:01, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Rei Hance (currently a redirect to Heather Donahue) → Heather Donahue (move · discuss) – Per Special:Permalink/1220407689#Requested move 22 April 2024. Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 23:14, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- 679 → AD 679 (move · discuss) – Per Special:Permalink/1221428920#Requested move 21 April 2024. Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 23:34, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Eduardo Humberto Maldonado (currently a redirect to Eduardo Maldonado) → Eduardo Maldonado (move) – This was recently moved to the longer title for disambiguation purposes, however the previous name remained a redirect meaning it was possibly unnecessary. The move was also incomplete, leaving associated pages (talkpage, GAN page, DYK page) behind, so moving back is needed as a technical fix to this. If there is consensus to disambiguate then all subpages should be moved with the main page. CMD (talk) 07:35, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

- Airtel Bangladesh → Airtel (Bangladesh) (currently a redirect back to Airtel Bangladesh) (move · discuss) – Airtel Bangladesh was a independent company till 2016. At now Airtel is a licensed brand of Robi Axiata Ltd. So it should be moved on the proposd title. ~ Farhan Snigdho (message) 06:16, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- This move doesn't seem necessary to me, per WP:NATURALDIS and WP:TITLECON - all other entries at Category:Bharti Airtel are of the form Airtel <NameOfCountry>... Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 11:20, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- In other entries Airtel is an independent brand but in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka it is a brand of Axiata where 'Airtel' is a licensed brand name from Bharti Airtel. ~ Farhan Snigdho (message) 04:13, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

- Tajiks of Xinjiang → Pamiris of Xinjiang (move · discuss) – The so-called "Tajiks of Xinjiang." Qupothop (talk) 05:06, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- There have been many passionate arguments about this at the article's talk page, going back as far as 2009. Yes there is a problem with what the Chinese government calls them, but this request can't possibly be "Uncontroversial". ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 12:54, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
