User:Dawkin Verbier

I have created quite a few articles over the past few days, including about 7 articles and another 7 redirects, and as a new page patroller myself, I think that it would be better if my articles were autopatrolled to cut down on the backlog. Thank you for thinking of the backlog, but  Not done at this time. You're still technically under the minimum criterion of 25 new articles, which in itself is not a deal-breaker, but combined with the fact that you are still quite new to article creation, and have a relatively low rate, on balance I think your creations would benefit from continued review for the time being. – Joe (talk) 07:12, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:Pyeongchang

Xtools currently shows that they've created 969 articles, none of which appear to have started as redirects (based on "original size" column). Their only deleted pages are 12 redirects that were G8 deleted (targets were draftified). They're an experienced editor with over 2 years of activity and 25,000+ edits. Xtools currently shows that Indylover2010 has created 386 articles, 3 of which have been deleted at AfD. They have created 208 articles since the last time an article they created was deleted at AfD. Xtools currently shows that they've created 105 pages with 3 of them having been deleted (2x G7 deletions & 1x G6 deletion). 21 of these pages are disambiguation pages. Active since February of 2022 and has accumulated 8,000+ edits. Based on my experiencing reviewing their creations, I'm not seeing a need for NPP to manually patrol this user's creations. Xtools currently shows that they've created 271 articles, only one of which has been deleted. Their only article deletion was in November of 2021 and they have since created 242 articles. Their focus appears to be mostly genus articles and I haven't found any issues with them while patrolling. Not seeing a need for NPP to manually patrol the pages they create. I've created more than 25 articles on Wikipedia within less than a year. Furthermore, I am also familiar with its policies and guidelines. Endorsing. They have well over 25 articles, it looks like 81 currently, and it doesn't appear they've ever had one deleted. There are editors with hundreds of articles who I would not approve for autopatrolled, FormalDude. It matters not one bit how many articles someone has written. What matters is that their articles are clean. See Noorullah21 below for an example: doesn't meet the numerical threshold but got assigned autopatrolled because their work is clean. It matters a little bit, for example when comparing to the number of their articles that have been deleted. But you're right, it all comes down to their ability to create decent articles, and as I said, I reviewed several of their articles and they were clean. ––FormalDude (talk) 21:52, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Xtools currently shows that they've created 38 pages, only 1 of which was deleted (G6 deletion). Their creations appear to be focused around soccer (shocker, given the name) and I've not come across any issues while patrolling their creations. Seeking to have my pages autopatrolled as a net positive, as a lot of the pages I have created are still as of now, unreviewed. I also plan to create many other articles which is one of the main reasons I am requesting auto patrolled as to cut down on the backlog. I am aware of what warrants the creation of its own article and what does not. I edit a lot of pages regarding history, specifically Afghan history. I generally work with military conflict templates, and am aware of the format. Mck (talk)
