Doing new page patrol requires moving some articles to draft for better improvements as they're not suitable in the main space, it will be more better if I can move articles without leaving redirects. Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 12:49, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

At new page review and at recent changes I often encounter pages that are best dealt with by draftifying rather than AfD or CSD or PROD. At present that leaves an orphan redirect behind.
