Extended user status and your account

Yes, it's a guideline. You say you used to edit a lot. Which brings up the possibility you are a blocked or banned editor starting a new account. Another question is why is this so important to you that you are clearly rushing towards it? Doug Weller talk 06:59, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

Yes I did edit a lot but that was around a decade ago when I was very young, and no the last account was not a blocked/banned account, I started editing less to the point of no longer using my old account. I did numerous edits afterwards once in a while but all those edits were made without an account… and I’m not “rushing” towards anything, considering I’ve already got experience in editing Wikipedia and that guidelines are generally recommendations and not mandatory or required unlike the policies, I thought I could give myself a boost, something a lot of editors including well-respected ones have done, then again no one’s perfect.
