Hi! I'm CanonNi (/ˈkænən ˈni/). I'm from Changning, Shanghai, China, but I'm legally a Hong Kong citizen and hold its passport despite speaking 0 Cantonese. Why? One country, two systems. I edit the English Wikipedia for fun in my free time. I sometimes make mistakes; if I do, please let me know on my talk page.

My username comes from my WeChat ID, as it had to be at least 4 letters/numbers and couldn't have spaces. I use CanonNi (and sometimes canonnizq) for pretty much everything, so if you see an account with the same name, it's probably me. Say Hi if you want to! Now that I think of it, CanonNi is a stupid name, but I can't change it now^[b], so here we are.

I'm currently steadily working towards 10000 edits, which may seem a lot. That's what I said earlier when I was working towards 1000, and here we are now, at a lot of edits. (edit counter didn't work)

Public transportation

I'm a huge fan of public transportation and took pictures at every station in the Shanghai Metro network over the course of 3 days. (I would love to show them here but don't want to bother uploading over 400 selfies with station names to Wikimedia Commons).

My favorite...

Line: 15 - fully self-driving, modern carriages, big clean stations, a masterpiece of public transport design. The only flaw: Hongbaoshi Road doesn't have transfer links with Line 10 so I have to bike from Yili Road everytime I have to transfer.
Station: Century Avenue (it's so well designed compared to stations like Yishan Road and Longyang Road) although I've only been at Century Avenue once.

I often review requests at WP:AFC/C and WP:AFC/R, which means I have "created" a lot of redirects and categories using Eejit43's afcrc-helper.

I'm also a Articles for Creation reviewer and have helped others create their articles. Logs of my reviews can be found here and here. My acceptance rate is at around 10%, but this isn't because I'm purposefully declining drafts because I want to. The reason is most drafts submitted are either advertisements or don't contain any sources, both of which are no-nos for new articles.
