Revision as of 14:30, 14 April 2024

  • Comment: No significant improvement since previous submit in October. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 18:29, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: Mostly sourced to interviews and other PRIMARY references such as a show's website, with the remainder being brief mentions lacking significant coverage. Please add additional independent reliable sources that discuss the subject in detail. Primefac (talk) 14:52, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: There are a few threads on the talk page that might be of interest. Primefac (talk) 15:31, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: Once again, the decliner is very terse here. This submission is declined because Revord so far does not have a second significant role - when NACTOR talks about multiple films, tv shows, etc, that means more than one. The article needs to wait until Revord scores her second significant role, satisfying NACTOR. CapnZapp (talk) 16:31, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: At this point, we need to wait for her second significant role, which none has been presented since the May 2022 decline. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 16:19, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: It really isn't apparent from the boilerplate text above but the decline boils down to WP:NACTOR, User:Madonepro. There's no point resubmitting until the article can show her having a second significant role - when NACTOR talks about multiple films, tv shows, etc, that means more than one. The draft easily meets every other criteria for publication. CapnZapp (talk) 10:41, 28 May 2022 (UTC)

Early life

Raegan Revord was born on January 3, 2008 in San Diego, California.[3] She is an only child.[4] Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was three and a half years old.[5]

Career

Raegan Revord's career began early.[6] Revord's first role on screen was the short film Tortoise with David Arquette. Before appearing on television, Reagan appeared in various print commercials,[3][4] modeling by the age of four,[7] and later appeared in television commercials.[6][7] In 2014, she appeared in Modern Family as Megan,[8][9] repeating the role in 2016.[10]

She appeared on the comedy series Grace and Frankie and as Bob Odenkirk's daughter on With Bob & David. She had a role on the series Teachers.[11]

In March 2017, Revord was cast as Missy Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's twin sister in the The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon.[12] Her character had been used only sparingly on The Big Bang Theory, which Revord commented gave her more room to make the character her own.[13] Missy Cooper has been described as adding a "much-needed spunk to the plot but also serves as the perfect foil to her academically-gifted twin brother, Sheldon."[14] Missy Cooper is one of the key characters of this show.[15] Revord picked up her Texan accent by watching Laurie Metcalf play an older version of her character's mother on The Big Bang Theory.[16] A Young Sheldon spin off series was announced in 2024.[15] Revord will not be a regular on that show.[17][18]

In 2019, she played Ainsley in an episode of Alexa & Katie.[19] She did voice work for the radio play Nilsa and the Troll.[20]

Her young-adult novel, Rules for Fake Girlfriends, is scheduled to be published in 2025.[21]
