Moshe was born in 1975 in the city of [[Shire Inda Slasse|Shire]] in [[Ethiopia]] state as the eighth of twelve children to the sesame trader Zelelew and Asgadetch (later Shimon and Osnat) Tesema. When he was six years old, his family began a journey on foot to [[Khartoum]], the capital of Sudan, with the aim of immigrating to [[Israel]]. During his stay in [[Sudan]], he was forced to work menial jobs to support his family, including shoe shining and street peddling. Only after three years, in 1983, was the family able to make contact with [[Mossad]] agents and fulfill their aspiration of immigrating to Israel. Upon their arrival, they were settled in [[Or Akiva]] and later moved to [[Ashkelon]]. In high school, he studied at the Neveh Herzog Yeshiva High School in [[Nir Galim|Nir Gallim]].

He studied at [[Yeshivat Har Etzion]] and volunteered for full service in the [[Paratroopers Brigade]], where he became an officer. He later served as a deputy battalion commander in the 7491st Reserve Battalion of the [[Golani Brigade]], with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and in the reserves he commands a rescue battalion in the [[Home Front Command]]. He was later ordained as a rabbi, earned a bachelor's degree in education and Land of Israel studies from the Herzog Academic College, and a master's degree in Jewish studies from Ono Academic College.

Moshe Solomon (Hebrew: משה סולומון) is an Israeli politician who serves as a member of Knesset for the Religious Zionist Party following the 2022 Israeli legislative election.[1]

Biography

Moshe was born in 1975 in the city of Shire in Ethiopia state as the eighth of twelve children to the sesame trader Zelelew and Asgadetch (later Shimon and Osnat) Tesema.
