Virtual
Mixers:
To host a virtual mixer, use the organizing document to provide a Zoom link. As you decide whether to join an existing virtual mixer or start a new virtual mixer, be mindful of the virtual format and how many people can effectively participate in a given mixer. This will vary according to the plan for any mixer, so use your best judgment.

In-Person
Mixers
w/ Lunch:
To host an in-person mixer, use the organizing document to suggest a location and format. Because of our current distributed nature, we do not expect in-person activities are necessarily at campus.

To reimburse lunch for an in-person mixer, we require submission of a single reimbursement per mixer (i.e., up to approximately $60 for each group of 4 people). The overhead of processing multiple reimbursements quickly becomes prohibitive, so the first person in each mixer is responsible for coordinating a single reimbursement. If a mixer nevertheless results in multiple receipts, this person will need to gather all of those receipts and submit them as a single reimbursement. Confirm this by choosing "Confirm" in the Reimbursement column, and see additional reimbursement details on the DUB website as linked above.

We understand that some people may not be able or comfortable processing such a reimbursement. In this case, sign up for a group in which a person has already agreed to lead on reimbursement.

Seeking additional volunteers (e.g., students, faculty) to help DUB create more in-person activities (e.g., in-person/hybird seminars, in-person viewing of remote seminars). We'll work out what organizing we can accomplish in this meeting itself, and we'll also set plans for how people can help with this goal going forward. DUB has always been a grassroots organization, and we'll need your help for these activities to happen.

Meeting in CSE 691 / Gates Commons (6th floor of Allen Center), with burrito bowls.
