EVENT OVERVIEW
TMANY is very excited to announce a new event. The inaugural Treasury Innovation Northeast Symposium on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021. Joining us in producing this collaborative event are: New England AFP | Philadelphia AFP | Pittsburgh AFP | AFP of Western New York.

This 1-day virtual event will recognize 3 leading treasury organizations telling their stories of successful treasury innovation, disruption, and transformation. In addition, two keynote speakers will kick-off the day and close the day talking about innovation. In total, five 1-hour sessions on treasury innovation.

Treasury organizations from across the 10-state footprint of the 5 AFP regional chapters are invited to submit their Treasury Innovation through an easy to submit Google form. Our set of independent judges will select the top 3 entrants to be awarded and recognized at this event. Each of the winners placing either Gold, Silver and Bronze will present their innovation story at the Symposium in their own 1-hour session including Q&A.

Each winning team will receive Treasury Innovation Northeast Symposium statuettes for the project team members. A donation will made by the cohort of TMANY, New England AFP, Philadelphia AFP, Pittsburgh AFP, and AFP of Western New York to the charity of choice of each winning treasury organization (must be a certified 501(c)3 charity).

RULES
Applicants and/or their organizations must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for the Treasury Innovation Northeast Symposium awards:

1) At least one of the applicant or another project team member is a member of one of the following regional treasury associations: Treasury Management Association of New York (TMANY) | New England AFP | Philadelphia AFP | Pittsburgh AFP | AFP of Western New York.

If none are currently a member of any of these 5 northeast regional treasury associations, we encourage one member to join the association closest to your location. Note that some of the top tier sponsors have been allocated a few memberships that they can grant you to your local association.

2) Applicant's organization and project team is located in one of the following 10 northeast states: Connecticut | Delaware | Massachusetts | Maine | New Hampshire | New Jersey | New York | Pennsylvania | Rhode Island | Vermont.

3) Submission represents a form of treasury innovation such as:
Created disruption - Project resulted in a change of perspectives as well as physical process changes.
Radical Approach – Methodology employed and/or resulting improvement reflected a new approach or way of thinking about a treasury-related activity.
Breakthrough – Established a new best practice to be followed by other organizations.
Other? - Describe other ways in which your project was innovative.

4) Project was completed during the period: October 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
