Good morning FMS, the month of November starts today which means a new Character Student of the Month. This month we are focusing on CITIZENSHIP. We are all citizens – citizens of our country, our community, and our schools. However, what does it mean to be a good citizen? How can you show others you devote yourself to the development of these different areas? You can be a good neighbor. Take care of where you live and be proud of what you have. Obey rules – both in school and out of school! Find opportunities to take part in making your community better. Protect the environment. Clean up and recycle. Demonstrate good sportsmanship and make others feel valued for their accomplishments. Stay positive. Everywhere we go, we have the opportunity to make a difference. Are you doing things that make others think about how you are making a positive difference?

Chess Club meets every Tuesday after school until 4:30 in the Media Center.

Newspaper Club meets every Thursday from 2:30-3:30 in Room 180.
