Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan, Will be Shown in All Cinemas Next Year

Who doesn’t know the Crayon Shin-chan character? I’m sure almost all of Mina-san know this character, right?

Shin-chan is an annoying but adorable little boy. If you miss this character, last weekend, the Crayon Shin-chan franchise revealed that the franchise is getting its first 3DCG film, which will premiere in Japanese cinemas in the summer of 2023.

The anime film is titled Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan Film Chounouryoku Dai Kessen: Tobetobe Temakizushi ( New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Great Psychokinetic Battle: Leaping Handmade Sushi).

Quoting Anime News Network, the film Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan Film Chounouryoku Dai Kessen: Tobetobe Temakizushi will be the 31st film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise. Hitoshi Oune will direct the film, as well as write the screenplay. Meanwhile, Shirogumi Inc. will animate the film.
Previously the 30th film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpuden, opened in Japanese theaters on April 22 and debuted at number 2 on its first weekend of screenings.

In addition to the film and anime, last year’s Nintendo Direct announced that developer neos is producing a new game for the Crayon Shin-chan franchise. The game is named Crayon Shin-chan: Ora to Hakase no Natsuyasumi – Owaranai Nanokakan no Tabi. That is, Crayon Shin-chan: My Summer Vacation with the Professor – Endless Seven Day Journey. The game ships to Switch in Summer 2021.***
