Granbelm Anime Reveals Eir Aoi Song in New Promo, More Cast

The official website for the Granbelm original anime series began streaming an opening promotional video on Saturday, and it also announced the opening theme song artist and an additional cast member. Eir Aoi is singing the opening theme song "Tsuki o Ou Mayonaka" (Following the Moon in the Middle of the Night) that the video previews:
Manaka Iwami plays Kuon Tsuchimikado, a middle school student with a seemingly quiet demeanor, but who is actually the scion of the storied Tsuchimikado lineage of onmyōji occult practitioners, with the inherited duty of protecting the family.
The previously revealed cast includes:
Miyuri Shimabukuro as Mangetsu Kohinata
Atsumi Tanezaki as Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami
Yōko Hikasa as Anna Fugo
Yurika Kubo as Nene Rin
Chinatsu Akasaki as Rosa, one of Anna's students
Hikaru Akao as Kibō Kohinata, Mangetsu's little sister
The anime takes place in a world that long ago featured the existence of magic, but has long since lost that ability. The story begins when the very normal high school student Mangetsu Kohinata meets Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami, who has migrated back to Japan from Germany, on a night with a full moon.
The show's first 10 minutes streamed in April with the announcement of the series' July 5 premiere date in the "Animeism" programming block on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS:
Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow, Wakaba Girl) is directing the series at Nexus (Wakaba Girl, Chivalry of a Failed Knight). Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live! School idol project, Love Live! Sunshine!!) is overseeing the series scripts and Shinichirou Otsuka (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- light novel illustrator) is designing the original characters. Infinite is producing the anime. Uru performs the anime's ending theme song "Negai" (Wish).
