Innovator: Blockchain for Social Good - Syed Abrar Ahmed
Blockchain for Social Good
What is blockchain? How does it work? It is much more than just cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin and Ethereum). It can be used for social good like reducing poverty, promoting inclusion, fair trade, pandemic readiness and possible preventions. In this workshop, you'll learn how you can use this powerful platform to improve the world.

Syed Abrar Ahmed is the founder and CEO of Liber Health, an organization that uses blockchain to democratize healthcare and put power in the hands of the patients. He is also a Nest I/O Incubator Alumni, Global Good Fund Fellow 2021, awarded Outstanding Entrepreneur at GES 2019, and a member of International Exchange Network Alumni at US Department of State.
