Youth Transition Services Program Prepares Youth for Life After FCCS
Becoming an adult and leaving the child welfare system can be a very difficult transition for
FCCS youth. Fortunately, the agency’s youth transition services program is there to prepare them for the future. It offers counseling, life skills training and other services to youth, which include assessment, independent living case planning, transitional living, and after care. All youth age 14 and older, who are under agency custody, are able to participate in assessment services.
