4th season premieres in October

The official English Twitter account for the My Hero Academia television anime series confirmed on Thursday that Funimation will stream the upcoming fourth season of the anime. The new season will premiere in October.

The 25-episode third season premiered in April 2018, and Funimation streamed the English dub of the third season. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan.

The third season featured the same staff, including director Kenji Nagasaki at BONES, scriptwriter Yousuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi (with assistance by Hitomi Odashima), and composer Yuki Hayashi.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017.

The My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film opened in Japan last August. The franchise is receiving a second film this winter.
