Given the wide assortment of devices available (especially on the Android front), this document intends to serve as an unofficial device compatibility list for DropMix. Devices will be listed alongside their specs, a compatibility grade (see below), and additional notes regarding performance or other device features. If you have a correction to a device on the list, please leave a comment. If you wish to add a new device, please submit it on the 'report device' sheet using the same format (if you don't have all of the information, that's fine - we can try to fill in the blanks). Please note this is only intended to serve as a guideline - if you can, be sure to test the app on a device before you buy it!

Performance Grade Legend

AA - Full CompatibilityDevice has no performance problems (audio or visual) and no features (e.g. video export) are missing.

BB - Near-Full CompatibilityDevice has no performance problems and only non-essential features (e.g. video export) are missing. The device plays the game, but is missing other features.

CC - Moderate CompatibilityDevice has minor visual performance problems and only non-essential features are missing. The device plays the game, and the experience is not impacted, but it's clearly struggling.

DD - Poor CompatibilityDevice has significant performance problems (audio or visual) and only non-essential features are missing. The device plays the game, but the experience suffers.

FF - No CompatibilityDevice has critical performance problems (audio or visual) or will not load the app and/or essential features are missing. The game is unplayable.

Performance Grade Cell Colour Legend

CVibrant - Tested/ConfirmedDevices that have been reported as functional/non-functional by Harmonix and/or the community will feature the regular colour palette.

CFaded + Italics - UnverifiedDevices that have not been tested but where functionality is presumed (based on specs, similar models) will be italicized and feature a faded/pastel colour palette.

If you are having problems with the app hanging on load/on the splash screen with version 1.4.2 (released 20 Nov 2017), confirm that you have an SD card. This sorted this issue out for two people who have it working on otherwise functional/supported devices.
