Firestorm is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Darin Banks' family as they navigate this difficult time.

On Friday, May 6^th, Firestorm Firefighter Darin Banks, of Red Bluff, California, tragically died after being struck by a dead tree that unexpectedly fell. Darin was assigned to a Type II Initial Attack Hand Crew working to prepare an area for prescribed burning in Tuolumne County.

Darin was 26 years old. He leaves behind his 4 year-old son, mother, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents and many other friends and family members who loved him. Firestorm will share more information on this page regarding services as soon as it is available.
