Welcome to Crow River Youth Choir! 

We are an ensemble of 4th, 5th, and 6th students who meet in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

The mission of the Crow River Youth Choir is to enrich the lives of children through their participation in a high quality community children’s choral experience. Our organization’s role in the artistic development of our community is to provide a concert to the public that is affordable to families and people of all ages and enjoyable for its musical quality and showmanship. We anticipate that this project will help people to appreciate and value music and the arts in our community. 

2023-2024 Season Details

Practice: Tuesdays beginning September 12th from 3:45-5:00 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. See the "Calendar" page for specific dates. 

Grades: The choir is open to all students in grades 4, 5, and 6 in the Hutchinson area. 

Registration: $90 registration fee covers 7 months of rehearsals and a choir t-shirt! Complete the Registration Form HERE! Payment plan and scholarships may be available. Submit request in the registration form. Payment may be made online or via cash/check.

Concert: Thursday April 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Park Elementary School Auditorium

All choir members must attend. Open to the public. Admission.

Additional Performances:

These performances will allow the youth choir to 1) practice performing for an audience and prepare for our April concert 2) help draw in a larger audience to our April concert 3) provide additional opportunities to showcase our choir in the community 4) give back to members of our community. Some of the performances will be during our rehearsal time and others will be part of events in the community. More detailed information will be given out before each event.

• Sunday, November 19 at 4:00: Perform at the Coming Together in Song fundraiser at Christ the King church.

• Tuesday, December 19 at 3:45: Walk to the Prince of Peace senior residence and sing holiday songs.

• January/February (date TBA): Sing the National Anthem at an evening  HHS home Boys/Girls basketball game. 

• March/April  (date TBA):  Perform at Community of Lakeridge, Hutchinson.

• Tuesday, April 11 at 3:45:  Concert dress rehearsal in Park Elementary School auditorium. Practice using risers and microphones. All choir members must attend this rehearsal.
