We are looking for volunteer coaches for our 10th anniversary family event on Sunday, October 15 at Technoport in Belval. Simply let us know how to contact you and how you plan to contribute!
We expect around 150 kids aged 6 to 12 with their families, and we aim to gather 50 coaches to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
As a volunteer coach, all you need to bring is your good mood and curiosity. All languages and nationalities are welcome. No previous knowledge of coding or education is required. We will teach you the basics beforehand and there will be plenty of hands-on experience during the event.
There are lots of ways you can help - before, during and after the
Coding Goûter!
Help organise the event during August & September- publicise the event: posters, ads, social media, press…
- take the lead for one of the workshops: familiarise yourself with existing content, train other coaches, gather the necessary materials…
- or even develop your own workshop.
Help prepare the venue in the morning (9:00)- prepare the venue: set up tables, hang up way-signs, decoration, cloakroom, catering area, distribute coach t-shirts and make sure that we all share a happy lunchtime
- prepare workshops: get and prepare laptops, check updates, set up robots and many other technological marvels like Makeys and 3D printers
Help run the event in the afternoon (13:00 - 18:00)- workshop coach
- registration and information desk staff
- buffet supervisor
- photographer
Note that if you'd like to come with your family and also help out during the event, then please make sure that another adult can accompany the children.
Help tidy up in the evening- clean the venue
- pack up equipment
- share cake leftovers to take home ;)
