Rusty Briggs knows his chances of finding a man while living outside Sweetwater, Texas, are slim to none. Few know about his little secret, but his ranch hands have run out on him, and the folks in town aren’t as hospitable as they were before the incident. He’s resigned himself to the fact that working his ranch will have to be enough, or he will need to sell and move to the big city…that is until he meets Trent Anderson.

On the outside, Trent appears to be a man with full access to silver spoons and caviar dreams, but his parents cut him off and tossed him out once they discovered he was gay. After living on the street, selling himself, and ending up in a destructive relationship, Trent pulled his life together and came out on top by using his compassion and intelligence—or so Trent thinks. Recently, Trent’s grandfather passed away and left him money as long as he met a few conditions, like living in Texas for ninety days. But Trent’s secret benefactor, Reed, is dissatisfied that Trent isn’t in Atlanta and wants him back. The only issue for Reed is that Trent is involved with Rusty.

Money, greed, lust, and power work to keep Rusty and Trent apart. They are forced to trust each other when life falls apart, but can they become close enough in ninety days to create a solid, trusting relationship, or will old relationships come between them?

Sara York has packed this story quite full of drama, angst and of cause she gave us some sex. This is Reed and Trent story while their opposites Sara York really make them the perfect pair. Rusty is a rancher that works mostly by himself though the day, because his ranch hands had all left him and after an embarrassing incident ,he's not any body's favorite guy in town. Speaking of town it's small and it doesn't really accepts Rusty gay life style. So at the moment he's alone on the ranch ,but it's not like Rusty ever has fling with no one, he has a buddy that visits a couple times a year. So right now he's by himself ,since the neighbor has die. The neighbor happened to be Trent's grandfather ,Trent is also gay, he had a tortured past but now he helps others. Trent is surprise when hears about the term and condition specified by the old man. He has to live in the house for ninety days and everything will be his. I could go on and tell you more about this story but that would spoil it for you . I highly recommend you to read this amazing story ,you won't be disappointed.

The first book in this series is such a sweet story. Lot's of love and understanding. Learning a new way of life and learning about how to live and love in a not so understanding small town in Texas. If any of these things trip your trigger then this is a great book and I would recommend it highly. Looks like another great series by Sara York.

I would love to give this 10 STARS it deserves.. A fantastic book by Sara that you cant put down. A story about Trent who's inherited his grandfathers ranch but with conditions he has to live there 3 months. Thinking it would be easy he doesn't think he would meet Rusty on his first day in town. Rusty meets eyes with his new next door neighbor and instantly falls head over heals. But Rusty is not out due to the town town not being accepting.. This is a MUST READ...

Young men on adjoining ranches and it's instalove. Lots of angst as the backstory is revealed, coupled with self-image issues are helped out by great passion. York writes sympathetic characters in a harsh and unforgiving environment, throwing in connections from the past. Good plot, but not true HEA-like resolution.

4.0 out of 5 stars A satisfying short read.

The story a of city boy, Trent, being forced to spend time in rural Texas as part of the terms of his grandfather's will was a great premise that made for an enjoyable shortish read.
Openly gay Trent expects to have some problems surviving in a town that isn't exactly welcoming to gay guys and he's right. What he doesn't expect is that his hot next door neighbour, Rusty, is also gay. With many issues in his past, Trent finds it difficult to believe Rusty will accept him in his life. Their journey to a HEA is fraught with almost as many misunderstandings as it is by hot cowboy love, but the reader will be left satisfied in the end.
