Ko si ewe, ko si orisa -- without plants there are no orisa. There is no food. No air. No nothing. Plants are crucial to everything we do as we live life on earth and they are also powerful teachers, able to help us unlock some of our deepest emotions and heal and grow in ways we have never imagined.

This retreat uniquely combines ancestral veneration and other Africana spiritual practices with high Amazonian shamanism to create a beautiful and transformative experience. We will grow together with plant baths, prayer, meditation, song, craft, and more!

Testimonials
The overall Peru experience was awesome and well planned. It was enlightenining, relaxing, fun and engaging.
So happy to have my new family in Mother Aya! We have had a wonderful lifechanging experience etched in our souls for a lifetime!
Peru has been a wonderful and life changing experience for me!! Time to go home and get to work on manifesting these dreams!!
The spirtual journey to Peru was a great time, and I felt that it was a tremendous value for the price.
Truly grateful for such an amazing experience!
I am forever grateful to my brothers and sisters... for all of their love and support. We supported one another in our healing journeys. They took care of me when I got really "sick" (it was my body's way of healing from physical issues, trauma, anger, resentment and heartache) and helped me up and down the mountain (a journey in itself!)
FAQ
Q: Where do we fly to? Is the flight Included?

A: We fly into Tarapoto, Peru (TPP) and our final destination is the town of Lamas. Flight is NOT included in retreat price. Average price is about $600-800 and we can help with arrangements if needed.
Q: What is the food like?

A: Food is fresh, organic, and much of it is grown right on the premises! Rice, beans, fruits, root vegetables, and fish are staples and we will eat these during our stay at the guest house. During the fasting period on the mountain, you will eat only rice or quinoa once daily and plenty of fresh spring water.
Q: What are the accommodations like?

A: While at the guest house, we will stay in shared, dorm-style rooms with shared modern bathroom facilities. While on the mountain, each person will stay in their own individual tambo (small dwelling--think teeny tiny house) with rustic outdoor showers and outhouses for bathroom facilities. While the surroundings are beautiful, this is not luxury trip by any means. Think camping.
Q: What's the daily schedule like?

A: We will spend most of our time together in quiet reflection. The first 2 days will feature bonding activities and relaxation including swimming and herbal sauna. We then hike up into the mountain and spend the next 7 days communing with ourselves, nature, and the sacred plant medicines. We come back to the guest house for another 2 days of togetherness before we return home.
Q: Will there be sightseeing?

A: As this is a spiritual journey, most of our time will be spent in seclusion and in ceremony. We will see a bit of the local town, but otherwise will not engage in sightseeing.
