On June 9th, Amazon was thrilled to announce that it has joined the Minneapolis tech community by opening a software development center in downtown Minneapolis. We are excited to now be a part of the Minneapolis tech industry and would like to thank its technology and city leaders for the warm welcome by inviting the tech community to celebrate with us and learn more about software product development at Amazon.

On August 10th, we will be hosting an event at the McNamara Alumni Center for members of the Twin Cities tech community. Technology leaders from Amazon will talk about our plans to engage the region’s high caliber technical talent to develop cutting-edge software applications that fuel Amazon’s rapidly growing operations, fulfillment and delivery capabilities. This will be an opportunity to learn more directly from our Operations Technology executive leadership as well as network with some of Amazon’s technical leaders from across the country.

Cocktails and appetizers will be served and throughout the night, we will be proudly giving away our cutting-edge devices as door prizes.
