5 Digital Trends to Look For in 2015
Arfa Syed, Auto Care Association

I was recently given the amazing opportunity to kick off the YANG Time Webinar series which could not have happened at a better time. Reflecting on the state of the auto care industry and revisiting the association’s social and digital strategy, it was a great way for me to share my industry experiences and predictions for 2015. For those that missed the webinar, you can watch it here, and below are the top five digital trends that I mentioned in my webinar.

1. Data-Guided Decisions As social and digital platforms mature and more user-friendly data is available for businesses and marketers to use, data’s role has changed—now it’s not just for high level strategy meetings, but day-to-day decisions. With the ability to see the effect of campaigns on your business sales, web traffic, ad efforts and more, data-guided decisions will lead your business decisions on a daily basis.

2. Visual Content is King We’ve all heard for some time now that content is king, but trends show not any content can be king — it must be visual. The average consumer wants to be visually stimulated rather than just read something your business publishes. This is why businesses are increasingly using visual tools such as infographics and videos to communicate.
