Dear Clients & Friends,
I want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, clients, and associates very seriously. Like you, my office is closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will practice social distancing. We have temporarily closed all Long & Foster Real Estate offices to the public to protect and care for those who work with us and for you, however we are still open for business and ready to help our clients.
Moving forward I will continue to meet with buyers and sellers, show homes for sale and rent, and meet for listing appointments, but I will fashionably wear a COVID-19 approved mask and nylon gloves.
Any of my buyer clients who wish to continue with their new home search will be required to wear protective gear as well to protect the homes we visit and themselves. I will notify all listing agents and their sellers that my clients visiting homes are well protected. Unfortunately, children will not be allowed on in-person home tours due to their unpredictable nature.
It is strongly suggested to my sellers who have homes on the market now or plan to in the coming weeks or months, that you provide hand sanitizer, gloves, or wipes to potential buyers visiting your home. Please remember to leave the home shortly before any scheduled showing appointments.
We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our clients and communities as needed.
For more information about COVD-19 and what you can do to keep healthy and safe, visit the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov or your local health department's website.
Thank you,
Mark
