V.I.C.O JINGLE CONTEST (“Contest”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) shall apply to the V.I.C.O JINGLE CONTEST organized by VICO (Under the holding company MAESTRO SWISS INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD.), managed by iCanvas (Under the holding company IMEDIA ASIA SDN BHD) (the “Contest”), (the “Company”), (the “Agency”).

  1. All participants (“Participants”) who are at least thirteen (13) years of age at the beginning of the Contest Period are eligible to take part in the Contest.

  1. Any individuals who are under thirteen (13) years of age at the beginning of the Contest Period may participate in the Contest provided they have obtained parental or legal guardian consent. Additionally, submissions must be posted by the respective parent(s) or guardian(s) of the Participant.

  1. The Company may, upon request, require all Participants to present valid identification for verification of the Participants’ identity.

  1. The Company may exclude any person from participating in the Contest without providing prior notice and/or reasons, in its sole and absolute discretion.

  1. The Contest shall commence on [1st March 2024] at [0000 Hours], and ends on [31st March 2024] at [2359 Hours], (the “Contest Period”). All entries received outside the Contest Period will be immediately disqualified. No correspondence will be entertained.

  1. To participate in the Contest, Participants are required to satisfy the following conditions:

  1. must be a Malaysian citizen who holds a valid national identity document with a permanent address in Malaysia;

 

  1. must not be an employee of the Company and its affiliated companies or a member of the employees’ immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) or a household member of the employees; and

  1. must not be an employee of the organizing parties affiliated with the Contest, as well as their immediate family immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members. The organising parties include:

  1. IMEDIA ASIA SDN BHD
  2. MAESTRO SWISS INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD.

  1. Participants must complete the required steps to participate in the Contest:

  1. Step 1: Recreate the V.I.C.O Jingle as creative as you can with ANY Vico products. 

  1. Step 2: POST your best V.I.C.O Jingle on Instagram OR Facebook.

  1. Step 3: TAG Vico and 3 friends on your video.

  1. Step 4: Use the HASHTAG #VicoJingleContest.

  1. Step 5: FOLLOW AND LIKE Vico Instagram and Facebook page.

  1. For the avoidance of doubt:

  1. Only entries which have completed Step 1 until Step 5 will be eligible to win a prize.

  1. One person can only win once.

  1. One person is allowed multiple entries.

  1. Incomplete or late entries will be disqualified.

  1. All contest apply the same mechanics and steps stated on the respective Social Media Pages by Vico (https://www.facebook.com/VicoOfficialPage/). 

  1. All decisions by the Company and the Jury are final and cannot be challenged.

  1. The judgement for the winners of the contest will be held after the Contest Period.

  1. All decisions pertaining to the selection of Winner(s) by the Company and the Jury are final and conclusive and are not subject to challenge or dispute.

  1. The winner(s) will be announced on the Social Media Pages (Vico) of the organizers.

  1. The Company reserves the right to amend, in its sole and absolute discretion, the mechanics and/or details of the Contest, without providing prior notice to Participants.

  1. This content shall involve a total of 32 Prizes for a total of 14 Winners:

  1. The Company shall announce the winners within the period of 1st April - 20th April 2024 (“Announcement Date”). The Company shall also contact the winners by phone before/within the Announcement Date(s) to arrange for delivery of the prizes. Contest winner(s) are required to provide the following details via private message within forty-eight (48) hours of the announcement:
  2. Full name as per NRIC
  3. Contact number
  4. Mailing Address
  5. Email address

Upon verification of the winners’ identities by the Company, the company will deliver the prizes to the winners according to the details provided by the winner(s).

  1. The Organizer are to deliver the prizes within a 30-day period after receiving the Winner(s) details.

  1. The Participants agree that all prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, may not be exchanged for cash and are at all times subject to availability. The Participants agree that the prizes shall not be resold or used for any commercial purposes.

  1. The Participants agree that all prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the Contest Winner(s), and the Organizer excludes all liabilities, representation and warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law. Contest Winner(s) shall comply with the terms and conditions of each prize.

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prizes with items of equivalent value and without prior notice.

  1. The specific terms and conditions of each of the prizes shall apply where applicable, and the Participants agree that any prizes which are not used before its expiry date (where applicable) shall not be replaced by the Company.

  1. By participating in the Contest, the Participant is taken to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and any other instructions, specific terms and conditions that the Company may issue from time to time;
  2. Further, by participating in the Contest, the Participant agrees:-

  1. that the Company reserves the right to video, photograph and/or record the Contest (including the announcement of the winners and the collection of the prizes), and publish the Participant’s images, videos and details for any purpose related to the Contest without having to provide prior consent, notice or compensation to the Participant;

  1. that all intellectual property rights thereto shall belong to the Organizer. The Organizer shall have the exclusive right to use, edit, modify and publish the entry submitted by all the Participant(s), publish the names of the Participant(s), in any way it deems fit for any advertising, trade, promotional purposes and for any other reason whatsoever, without any further notice to the Participant(s) and the Participant(s) shall not claim ownership or any payment or compensation on the materials.

  1. that the Company shall have the right to suspend, withdraw or cancel the Contest, and to amend these Terms at any time in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice;

  1. that the Company’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final, and the Company will not entertain any correspondence or appeals on the same;

  1. that Participants who have been found to have engaged in misconduct, including cheating, fraud and/or manipulation shall be disqualified from the Contest and will not be eligible to win any prize;

  1. to indemnify the Company against any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees), which the Company may incur in connection with a breach of these Terms by the Participant; and

  1. that the Company shall not be liable for any injuries, losses or damages arising from or in connection the Contest, including without limitation, any error in the computation of chances, breakdown or malfunction of related equipment, or any error in the outcome of Draw.

  1. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.

  1. Any clause in these Terms or any other terms and conditions as may be agreed to or accepted by the Participants that is invalid, unenforceable or illegal shall be enforced as nearly as possible in accordance with its terms, but shall otherwise be deemed severed and shall not affect the enforceability of any other clauses, which clauses shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. In the event of any inconsistencies between these Terms and the contents of any Contest material relating to the Contest, these Terms shall prevail. In the event of inconsistencies between the English version and any other versions of the Terms, the English version shall prevail.

  1. The Participant agrees that these Terms shall be governed by Malaysian law and that the Courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
