Jamie Slack, 37 from Langdon Hills, in Basildon , Essex, built the app, AstroDate, after combining his astrological and dating passions.

Jamie first studied the foundations of astrology when he was 16 years old after becoming 'fascinated' by astrology. Over the past 20 years, he advanced his knowledge, especially in the areas of natal, synastry and predictive astrology, with the year-old now creating an app to find a dater's perfect astrological match. Jamie said: "What was first a hobby soon become a complete infatuation, spending many hours doing astrological readings for people from all walks of life. Jamie added that creating a platform for people to date was a lifelong dream, but there were stumbling blocks in the way. He said: "I have always wanted to create a dating platform using astrology, but lacked the funds to get one built. So not wanting to be beaten, I decided to learn website development and coding skills to create the platform myself!
