Damaged car, robbed in Oakland

Since Thor movie just came out in US theatres, I was about to watch it with a friend in Oakland. I haven't seen my friend in a while. So I went to Oakland Chinatown to eat a meal with my friend before watching Thor. My friend and I was at Shooting Star Cafe in Chinatown Oakland for 30 minutes before we went back to my car to drive to the theatre. My car was parked a block away, across the street from the restaurant.

As we approached my car, we saw a man (dressed in all black) break the windows of my car and stole my laptop, my passport, and my usb drive with my edited YouTube videos in it (which I spent ~20 hours editing). I make  videos and post on YouTube, so it saddens me that all my edited contents was stolen.
The reason why I had my laptop with me was because I literally just drove back from Portland (from vlogging about fall foliage. I edited videos during my roadtrip to be productive with time).

The financial burden is very deep (~$3,000 in damage and property theft).  So I am asking friends and the GoFundMe community for help, so your support would be greatly appreciated!
