You're encouraged and welcome to attend as many weeks as you'd like. Each ticket is for one week only, so you must register for each week separately.
S.T.E.P.S.' Summer Leadership College/Career Enrichment Program is our effort to bring STEAM awareness and education to young women in southeastern Connecticut. This 4-week program is at no cost to participants and will take place from July 12 through August 6. Students can choose to participate in as many weeks as they would like.
S.T.E.P.S. will be joined by the New London County Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and Soroptimist CT Shoreline to serve a diverse group of 150 young women ages 16-19 in southeastern Connecticut.
Activities will include science, technology, engineering, arts and math projects. College tours, field trips, mindfulness exercises, personal finances and Friday Fun Adventures will round out the program.
The program will be held at local colleges and other venues. Transportation will be provided from designated locations in Groton, New London and Norwich - free of charge. Food will be included.
You must register for each week individually. If you select multiple weeks, you will need to enter your information for each ticket or week that you choose.
