Youth Brain Health First Aid (YBHFA) is a course in which you will be certified to recognize potential signs and symptoms of youth in a brain health crisis and ways to appropriately respond. You can learn more about the National BHFA course here:
http://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/cs/take-a-course/course-types/youth/This course includes 8 hours of instruction, a course manual, snacks, a completion certificate, and a fun environment. YBHFA courses typically cost around $250 - The Avielle Foundation and the Resiliency Center of Newtown are offering it to you for free, hosted by Parent Connection (of course, you are welcome to donate to all of these great causes!).
