Speaking Out is a FREE all-volunteer Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied (LGBTQA) educational speakers’ bureau that conducts approximately 50 community speaking engagements annually in local middle schools, high schools, and college classrooms, businesses, organizations, and community groups. By utilizing storytelling and personal connections, Speaking Out’s mission is to cultivate awareness and understanding of LGBTQA lives and experiences. Panels consist of 4-5 trained volunteers who present their stories, followed by a Q&A session with attendees. We also offer resources to those who request panels. Please allow at least 3 weeks' notice for your request.
