NOTION INK ADAM PRE ORDERS (PO1, PO1.5 & PO2) - World-Wide Survey and Statistics
<h1>Welcome :)</h1>
This is an International community-wide effort to better document where our NI orders are, if our Adams are actually in TNT's hands (and out of the slow NI process), and if some of those Adams are delivered! The basic idea of this spreadsheet is to have a better understanding of the whole order and receipt process. It appeared that we did not have a good general understanding of what's being really shipped in <b>PO1, PO1.5 and PO2</b>.

<b>Please don't submit entries for orders that were placed after 25. Feb. 2011.</b>

This tool was should give us a broad view of how things are going - and only a few people will notice a random, "I GOT MY ADAM!" thread on one given Notion Ink forum

<b>Some people have asked if we are from Notion Ink: the answer <b>NO!</b> Like you, we are simply fans of the Adam Tablet.  Most of us are also waiting for our Adam to arrive home.</b>

<u><b>How does this work?</b></u>: Fill in the form below.  Your information will be entered into a temporary spreadsheet where we check for valid dates and answers  THEN we MANUALLY enter the data in the main sheet (this has to be done because of some troublesmakers we had in the past, sadly).  We're usually really permissive about what you are writing, but the only thing we'd like to see is when you ordered, what device (LCD, 3G, etc), and where you come from. There are editors (admins) all around the clock so it's just a matter of time (mostly hours at worst) before your information gets into the main sheet. <u>Once you're in the main sheet</u>, you are part of the greater community, where all the cool statistics can be found in the other sheets of the document.

Day/Month/Year -> <strong>DD/MM/YYYY</strong> (e.g. 15/02/2011)</font>
<br><br>After entering your information, you should see your data on the <b>second sheet</b> of the main spreadsheet (more details at the bottom).  <b>PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A LAG BETWEEN THE TIME YOU ENTER YOUR INFORMATION AND THE TIME IT HITS THE SPREADSHEET!!  WE ARE MANUALLY ENTERING THE DATA (after verifying its integrity!)</b>

New entry, updating or confirming? *
(1) Your adam order is not listed on the spreadsheet yet? Pls make a NEW entry. (2) Your data is already listed? Please UPDATE your data with changes. (3) Your data is correct, but column A says "not verified"? Please CONFIRM your data (you don't need to fill the whole form, just fill the required fields).
Nickname / Handle / Alias (should be unique - and cannot be "Anonymous" cuz we have too many of them!) *
If you are updating just re-enter your already chosen alias. If you are submitting a new entry please choose a unique alias to identify yourself, usually a nickname, but it could be a mix of anything. Check on the spreadsheet if your desired name is already in use by someone else. Be creative! Don't use "Anonymous" please!

Which Notion Ink related website do you visit the most? (In other words, where on the intertubes do you come from? :-) ) Answers are usually the following: NIB (Notion Ink's Blog), NIH (NotionInkHacks), NA (NotionAddicts).  See http://tiny.cc/NIT-Affiliations for complete list.

What country are you in? NOTE:  When you are simply updating your status (not for new entries), we need your country name, just in case there are duplicate names, as a way to differentiate.
Location (Specific)
If you'd like, you can say your state, province, region, or big city name, but it's totally not required. But it's always nice to see you're not Alone with an Adam in your area :)

When did you order your Adam? See your order page at  http://store.notionink.com/status.php (PLEASE RE-ENTER YOUR ORDER DATE ON UPDATES! Our spreadsheet is based centrally around our Order Dates.)
Billed date (on your CC statement) DD/MM/YYYY
Some people says they were charged days after they ordered, some got charged on the same day, some not at all. When did you get charged?
Device ordered *
Which version of the Adam did you order?
NI's "Estimated Shipping Date" (DD/MM/YYYY)
In your personal NI-Order-page about shipping? Enter a date in "Other" (just the first day of a given daterange, e.g. 05/03/2011) or select "Shipment under process" or "Shipped".
Clear selection
Delivered, Last Known "Tracking Date" (DD/MM/YYYY), Canceled, or Not Applicable   *
If you RECEIVED your Adam, select "Delivered." If you have tracking, enter the last Known tracking date in "Other."  If you canceled your order; select "Canceled;"  If neither; "N/A."
Date delivered DD/MM/YYYY (Day/Month/Year) *
If YOU RECEIVED your Adam, Enter DATE in "Other" (NOTE DATE FORMAT.)  Otherwise, choose "N/A"  
BRIEF comments? Requests?
BRIEFLY tell us what you think.  (DO NOT RANT here.  Go to a forum website, rather than here.)  We WILL shorten your comment if it is too long!!
