We're getting a Foam Pit!!

We're hosting a 5K Glow Run at Ballard Park on June 24th at 8:00pm.  Your participation will help us award 15% of the proceeds to the Regional Rehab Center of Tupelo and equally exciting we're going to be installing a foam pit!!.

What's a foam pit?  Great question!  

It's giant whole in the ground filled with foam blocks that athletes can tumble into, vault into, dismount into and swing into.  In the sport of gymnastics athletes need to be as safe as possible and they need to have as much fun as possible while learning their skills.  A foam pit like many of our setups in the gym all have these 2 things in mind first and foremost.  A foam pit will allow for a safe and fun learning resource for all members of TGC to train to the highest levels in the sport.  Is it necessary, yes; absolutely.  Your athletes are in the incredible sport of gymnastics because it is exciting and challenging.  The foam pit will level up their excitement and offer a safe place to earn more skills with limitless boundaries.  

The pit will be 16 feet long by 40 feet wide with 3 in-ground trampolines, a tumbling rod floor and a swappable bar (for men and women) will be over the pit.

What's Unlimited Summer?

Some of you athletes are enrolled in Unlimited Gymnastics already and they are thriving!  It is a joy to see them grow.  Summer is a great way to explore Unlimited Gymnastics.  You're currently enrolled in a single class.  During the summer your athlete can attend any number of extra classes at no additional cost.  So if you're looking for something more for child to do this summer, look no further, starting June 5th any athlete enrolled can attend unlimited classes all summer long without any added cost to your pocket book.  This works out perfectly if you're goin to miss a week or two; upon your return you can makeup any missed classes in a week and attend more than a months worth of gymnastics (no funs lost at all).

You can also join a Summer Camp and get an entire months worth of gymnastics and fun educational activities in a single week!

We are more than excited about the future of our organization!  

 

Currently Coaches Darby and Zanya along with some of our athletes were in Georgia training at a High Performance Camp this past weekend. 

Coaches Shawna and Bjorn along some more of our athletes have arrived to Blue Springs, Missouri to train Olympic Coach Al Fong.  You may remember that all of our Staff trained with Al Fong in late March.  Since we have returned we have been implementing new training methods with all of your athletes.  In the past two month we have seen so much transformation in every athlete in our care!  Coach Al Fong and his Staff have been such a blessing to our organization.  His athletes have represented the USA 10 times and have appeared in the last 4 Olympics to give you an idea of our goals.  
 

Our area has the talent and we aim to produce it!  We couldn't do it without you and are more than thrilled to share these amazing milestones with you.  You are TGC and we appreciate you!
